Race one: It was the fast starting Bence Pergel who took the holeshot and the Hungarian was looking pretty good at the front. Saad Soulimani was second but couldn’t close the gap to Pergel.
Marcel Stauffer didn’t get a good start as he was ninth on lap one but made a lot of passes quickly and got himself into third. He had around seven seconds to make up to the front and the Austrian was able to do just that passing Soulimani and then Pergel for the win.
Sander Agard-Michelsen looked to have a big crash on the final lap as he was a comfortable fourth.
Race Two: Again it was Pergel who took the holeshot in race two but Stauffer was able to get a better start and was sitting in second on lap one. The Austrian was patient on the first couple of laps but then made his move on Pergel to pull away to take a dominant race way to become EMX2T champion. Great to see after a serious injury last year.
Pergel was solid for another second. Soulimani was third and trying to catch the two riders ahead of him but then had issues resulting in a DNF.
Kovar ended up third which was enough to get on the box in front of his home crowd.
