Cooper Webb used consistency to win the 2024 Paris supercross, with Jett Lawrence’s crash on Saturday proving to be the mistake that cost him the overall win as Webb did what he had to do on Sunday to get the job done and his first overall win in Paris.
Lawrence went to another level on Sunday unleashing a quad to win superpole and all three motos in style, although he did have to work his way by Webb in moto two after the Yamaha rider unleashed the quad himself to make the first lap move on Jett, but Jett would ride on his back wheel for a few minutes before blitzing the whoops to take the lead back and pull away.

In race three, it was Lawrence again with the quick pass to the lead as Stewart took second with Webb a safe third to clinch the overall.
Jett said of his domination on Sunday: “Feels good, without that small mistake (on Saturday) I might have gone perfect. We learn from our mistakes and move on. Hitting the back of a lapper wasn’t ideal.”
While the victorious Webb commented: “Finally! I have been coming here a long time and finally king of Bercy. I was very consistent but Jett was definitely the fastest guy and had a bit of bad luck, I had some good battles with Malcolm.”
Tom Vialle came back from his mistake on Saturday to win the overall prince of Paris winning the final moto, despite a last corner pass attempt by Shimoda, to clinch the title on race wins despite tying on points with Anthony Bourdon, who took third but unlike the 450 class and Webb the consistency did not beat speed in SX2.
Shimoda didn’t make the podium after a bike issue in the second moto mean he had to DNF ending his hopes of beating Vialle in France.
