Haiden Deegan was 1.6 seconds quicker than Jett Lawrence in Q1 at High Point with Jorge Prado third, while Cole Davies was top in 250 Q1 from Levi Kitchen and Ryder DiFrancesco.
And things look like they are heating up between Jett and Deegan after Deegan got in Jett’s way on a fast lap according to Kellan Brauer: “Jett’s final fast lap, Haiden just stayed in his line heading down the hill so Jett then went ahead of him and roosted him and then they followed each other around jawing at each other for the rest of the lap.”
In Q2 it was Davies again quickest in the 250 class with Jett going P1 over Hunter in Q2 but Jett did crash with Deegan not missing a chance to chirp when he picked his bike up leading to a middle finger salute from the Aussie!
