Thibault Benistant quickly worked his way from third to first, passing early race leader, Jan Pancar, to take the lead and the win with an impressive display of speed and style. Kay de Wolf held Jago Geerts off by half a bike length after both hit the deck during the moto, but the duo have the speed for Monday.
Van de Moosdijk took fourth with Adamo and Everts coming on strong at the end passing Mikkel Haarup who showed a lot of speed early in his debut on the WZ KTM, eventually taking seventh.
