Qualifying race results: MXGP World Championship RD3 – Switzerland

The top four in the champion went to battle in the qualifying race in Swizerland with Prado leading initially from Herlings, Febvre and Renaux. Febvre was on a mission and worked his way to the front in a couple of laps as Renaux put the pressure on Herlings, but, late in the race, Prado, who didn’t let Febvre get away, made the pass back on Kawasaki rider as Renaux went down while on Herlings’ back wheel, giving Herlings some breathing room. Forato inherited fourth after a great moto keeping all four title contenders in his sights.

Whether it’s deep sand or a natural old school hard pack track, Prado, Febvre, Herlings and Renaux are quickly becoming the quartet to beat week-in, week-out this season.

Jeremy Seewer proved to be the great entertainer all moto. Dressed as a cow, Seewer got bashed around in turn one and came from the back to top ten before going down and coming from 14th back to sixth in a show of speed and all out action for his home fans! It was two Swiss riders in the top ten with Guillod eighth as Conrad Mewse enjoyed his first GP on a Honda to take a strong 12th.
