Race One: Conrad Mewse yet again shows how fast he is in the UK contesting domestic championships as he held off Jeffrey Herlings to take the win in race one. Herlings put in a couple of fast laps in right at the very end but he couldn’t make a move on Mewse who himself set his fastest lap on the final lap to respond. Jason Meara rode superb to finish an impressive third on his MotoCycle GasGas. Josh Gilbert got a bad start but recovered to fourth.

Race Two: Normal service was resumed for Herlings in race two as he quickly got into the lead and then pulled away at the front of the pack to end up winning with a margin of 47 seconds. Mewse still had a great day winning a moto but had to settle for second overall. Josh Gilbert had a lonely ride for third but salvaged a podium after a bad start in race one. Martin Barr had another strong ride for fifth with Jason Meara strong in sixth as the Irish riders start the season with great form.
