The 2026 MXGP FIM Motocross World Championships head to the Iberian Peninsula for the halfway point of the season, round ten being the MXGP of Portugal at the Crossdromo Internacional de Águeda!
It’s looking to be another hot GP on a hard-pack circuit, as Lucas Coenen continues to defend his points lead for Red Bull KTM Factory Racing, at the site of the first perfect weekend in his MXGP class career, while his chief chaser Jeffrey Herlings, second for Honda HRC Petronas, holds the record for the most wins in history at this venue! With the likes of Romain Febvre and Tim Gajser also having great records at this circuit, this should be an intense showdown in the premier class!
In MX2, Sacha Coenen clinched something of a landmark win in Italy for Red Bull KTM Factory Racing, winning with two second places, but the two riders who took the race wins there have now moved into second and third in the Championship, namely the Triumph Racing Factory Team of Guillem Farres and Camden McLellan. They will do everything to chase him down.
