Eli Tomac – close to 90% fit heading into outdoors!

Eli Tomac says he is at 90% coming into outdoors after his knee injury sustained at the end of supercross – but is very confident in his Star Racing Yamaha coming into the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross series!

The current supercross champ said in the press conference of his injury: “Made good ground, improvement on healing – I would say I am close to 90%. I’m not feeling it at all while riding, basically I would have to catch it in a weird way for it to be an issue. It’s been strong at home the past two or three weeks, making good progress. I was lucky to take off Salt Lake and let it heal for a few more days then slowly work back into the motos.”

And talking about his first outdoor season on Yamaha Tomac enthused: “Obviously Dylan had a strong platform last year and this bike seems to be totally fine at motocross if not better and an easier start even compared to supercross and I think we are going to be right in the game right away and it’s been really nice.”
