The Dutch MX2 GP team Young Motion powered by Resa announces the first rider of its 2026 lineup with the addition of Alessandro Gaspari.
The young Italian rider joins the team, taking the next step in his international career. With the arrival of Gaspari, Young Motion powered by Resa is deliberately choosing to invest in young talent.
Team manager Ron aan de Stegge explains this change in direction:
“Over the past few years, as a relatively new team, we deliberately brought in experienced GP riders, with Polak, Luning, and Olsson together having close to 150 Grand Prix starts. As 2026 will be our fifth GP season, we decided last winter that we are also ready to give young talents the opportunity to make this step. Alessandro fits perfectly into this picture.”
Gaspari finished 4th and 5th in the 65cc and 85cc European Championships, achieved several top-five results in the EMX125 class, and gained his first experience in the EMX250 class last season at the age of 17.
Gaspari will line up at the pre-season race in Lierop and will then focus on competing in the Grand Prix events. The team’s other riders will be announced soon.
