Eli Tomac has taken no time at all to adjust to the KTM and had a big smile on his face after he went quickest in qualifying over Justin Cooper who was jumping through the whoops and making it work.
And Cooper made it work even better in superpole as he floated his way to top spot with some great lines. A mistake for Eli Tomac coming into the whoops ended his hopes of being fastest in the ruts but he still went second quickest with Savatgy third and Roczen fourth.

Shane McElrath had a bike issue with his race bike in practice and was forced to ride the spare bike which meant, for the second time in a row, McElrath did not make superpole and will go to the line seventh.
Max Anstie went quickest in qualifying and superpole to underline his speed and intentions, but Coty Schock also impressed and looks ready to go for it tonight with a much better gate pick than Argentina.
