It is a busy week and year for Cooper Webb who was one of the few riders who made every race of the 32 AMA events and he has now confirmed Saturday night was his last race on Yamaha.
Webb now looks ahead of a change of manufacturer, believed to be Tedder Husqvarna, and the American will be racing the machine next weekend for team USA without much testing!
Webb said: “32 rounds done 👊🏼. Achieved my goal of lining up for every round in my final full season. It was also my last race with Yamaha. I’m proud of everything we accomplished together the past three seasons. 10 wins, 32 podiums, and finished 2-1-3 in the SX Championship. This team gave me my first shot almost 15 years ago and it was a personal goal to repay them with a 450 championship. Thank you boys 💙 Now let’s go rep the USA in France! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸”
