It’s set to be a big year ahead for TMX Competition. The Chalons-based family outfit keeps raising the bar – and its ambitions. Already one of the most competitive private teams in France, TMX is ready to take things up a gear by entering the EMX125 European Championship in 2026, with two young French hopefuls on board.

Over ten years in, TMX Competition has built a solid reputation through consistency, hard work, and national titles. Next season, Thibaut Mugnier’s team will enjoy factory support from KTM and backing from the French Motorcycling Federation (FFM) to line up Liam Bruneau and Enzo Herzogenrath in the EMX125 series.

Herzogenrath steps up

A familiar face within the team since 2022, Enzo Herzogenrath has climbed the ranks fast – from 65cc to 85cc, shining on both national and international stages. His 2025 season was one to remember: EMX85 European Champion, French Supercross Espoirs Champion, and runner-up in the French Motocross Espoirs series.

Now moving up to 125cc, Herzogenrath will continue with TMX Competition for a fifth consecutive season, with direct KTM factory support for the first time. He’ll contest both the EMX125 and French Junior Championships, under the guidance of Xavier Boog, Thibaut Mugnier, and Alexis Durandi for the physical side.

Bruneau returns to 125cc

On the other side of the awning, Liam Bruneau – 2023 EMX85 vice-European Champion and 2024 French Supercross Junior Champion – had stepped up to 250cc for 2025. After flirting with the top 10 in the French Elite MX2 Championship and making his EMX250 debut at Saint-Jean-d’Angély, Bruneau made the bold call to step back to 125cc mid-season to race the EMX125 at Ernée and the Junior Motocross World Championship at Romagné. A smart move: he finished 4th at the French GP and 9th in the World Championship.

He’s since been busy – SX Tour opener, Kenny Festival, Coupe de l’Avenir, and even the ADAC Supercross in Germany, where he fought for the win and landed third overall in Stuttgart.

For 2026, Bruneau will return full-time to the 125cc class with TMX Competition to chase both European and French Junior honours – also backed directly by KTM Factory Racing.
