Race One: Andrea Zanotti had a superb ride as he got a good start and dominated the first moto. Alessandro Lupino didn’t get the best of starts but was able to work his way into second to keep his hopes alive of winning the overall. Brian Hsu was strong as he finished third ahead of Jekabs Kubulins on his JK Yamaha. Julius Mikula got a bad start but worked his way up to fifth.

Race Two: Zanotti got another cracking start to lead on the first lap. Lupino got a better start than he did in race one and it didn’t take him long to get into second. He then caught Zanotti and passed him to take a dominate victory – it means he wins the overall.

Hsu rode well to finish in third to secure a podium. Filippo Mantovani had a strong ride in what is his first race on the 250cc finishing in fourth ahead of the returning Gianluca Facchetti who can be happy with his pace. Mikula came from outside the top twenty to sixth.
