Jo Shimoda edged Haiden Deegan by a tenth of a second right at the end of the session as Jett Lawrence went quickest in the 450s with Chase Sextok just a tenth off in second and Eli Tomac third.
In Q2 it was Haiden Deegan who stepped up the pace to go P1 as Levi Kitchen came from on the ground in a start straight crash that ended Max Vohland’s night to go P2 with Nate Thrasher third.

Jett Lawrence put in a astounding time in Q2, the only rider to get into the 1.09s with Hunter going second in his last flying lap. Everyone is still chasing the Lawrence boys on a key night of SMX double points with Jett saying, “we got a pretty clean lap, I feel I left a little bit out there, maybe a tenth.”
