Jorge Prado has released the following statement after drama from his previous post that had a Kawasaki team member replied saying Prado wasn’t a champion in his eyes!
Prado said: “Just to clear up some of the comments about my post — which had quite a bit of impact and led to all kinds of speculations — I want to make it clear that it was simply an end-of-MX season post . It’s nothing more than a reflection on what this season has been like for me personally. Anyway, I apologize to the team for any misunderstandings that may have arisen from my words. At no point do I mention the team or the bike itself — it’s entirely about my own feelings, and an explanation of my results based on how I felt on the bike.
“Of course, anyone is free to interpret my words however they like, but twisting or manipulating what I wrote or the meaning behind it, is something else. On the other hand, I really appreciate all the respect and support from those who know me — both personally and professionally — and who understand the kind of person I am.”
