Should Kawasaki move on from Jorge Prado? Cianciarulo and Brayton say yes!

Two of the nicest people in AMA racing, Adam Cianciarulo and Justin Brayton, have not held back on their thoughts on what Kawasaki should do with Jorge Prado for 2026 – move on!

With Prado linked to KTM in 2026 and even Ken Roczen linked with Kawasaki despite most people thinking he will probably stay with Suzuki, it is still very much musical chairs if Prado does move on with Cianciarulo and Brayton having their say on their latest podcast, as to who could be Sexton’s teammate in green.

Brayton said: “He’s got to go. The damage has already been done between the two parties involved, Kawasaki and Jorge. This is his strength right now (outdoors). Like how is it gonna get better in SMX or Supercross? How would it possibly get better in the discipline that he’s not as experienced in? I don’t know if you put Marchbanks on the bike, I don’t know if you bring Anderson back next year”

Cianciarulo said: “Even if he didn’t trash the team, other people would say that for him and his value would still be his value. The way that he visibly gives up on the track, he’s tanking his own value because what team wants to deal with somebody that’s gonna just completely throw the bike, the team, everything under the bus when it’s not going well?

“Bring Anderson back Supercross only if he came back next year and he was like super motivated and healthy I could see him winning a race and I could I could see him being on the podium a lot. I don’t think you’re getting a better number two guy than that for Supercross only. Then Pro Motocross comes around and you get the guy that’s passed more guys than anybody in the history of two-wheel racing period, Garrett Marchbanks, and you put Garrett Marchbanks on a 450 for outdoors.”
