Michael Lindsay has revealed a very interesting rumour going around the US paddock that Jorge Prado, despite having signed a three year deal with Kawasaki, may have an option at Red Bull KTM for 2026 but it would be a bonus only deal.
Maybe Tom Vialle potentially heading to HRC Honda in MXGP has given Prado an option that wasn’t previously available alongside another rumoured new signing, Eli Tomac, and Aaron Plessinger in what would be a powerhouse team.
ML said: “Like Prado having the option to go to KTM on a bonus only deal if he can get out of his Kawasaki contract. According to Kawi sources, he hasn’t asked to get out yet but they’re aware that the KTM conversation has happened…”
