There has been a lot of top names out injured this year in MXGP and while the likes of Renaux, Watson and Jonass are still out, Brent Van Doninck, Alberto Forato and Romain Febvre are all back for Loket with Jago Geerts also not far away from a return and Ruben Fernandez also back on the bike.
That’s five heavy hitters and there are rumours Maxime Renaux will also try and be back before the end of the season. These guys returning could also mix up the running order of the “big three” for the title with Gajser, Prado and Herlings needing brilliant starts to avoid what would be a harder job of coming through the pack.
At just past the halfway point in the series, MXGP is finally starting to get somewhere back to full strength!
