Chase Sexton caught and passed race leader Hunter Lawrence 20 minutes on to win the opening moto after stretching his gap to 9 seconds in just two lap and put a marker down that he is the man to beat now.
It was rinse and repeat for Chase Sexton who came from outside the top five to catch early race leader Justin Cooper and then Hunter Lawrence who, once again, lost the lead with ten minutes to go and, once again, Sexton put in some intense laps to pull away immediately.
This is looking like Sexton’s title to lose, he is now 13 points ahead of Hunter with four rounds to go as Hunter admitted he didn’t have the pace or energy this weekend.
