Race One: It was first blood to New Zealand talent, Nico Verhoeven as he took the holeshot and quickly ran away at the front. Dutch talent, Kash van Hamond didn’t get a good start in the lower end of the top ten but he made some quick passes and making a tough track look easy.
By the time he got into second, Verhoeven was gone at the front but if they start together it could be a great battle.
Theo Kolts from Estonia rode great to take third just ahead of British talent, Cohen Jagielski.
Race Two: It was Verhoeven that took another holeshot in the second moto but this time the gap at the front didn’t stretch out as much. Van Hamond yet again didn’t get a good start but worked himself into second quite quickly before Verhoeven crashed out of the lead. He then had another crash!
At the front Van Hamond had some pressure from behind from German rider, Luca Nierychio but held on to take the win. After crossing the finishing line he burst into tears along with an emotional family – congratulations guys!
Estionia’s Theo Kolts had a great day finishing third overall to round off the podium.
