So close yet so far. Pierce Brown was staying with Tom Vialle and had Haiden Deegan on his rear wheel in a captivating battle for the podium in Philadelphia until it all went wrong over the finish line jump going into the last lap.
Brown, who was fortunately unhurt, said: “1 lap to go for a podium. Man that hurts. Dust ourself off and see you in slc we’re not done yet”
