Beta will make their debut in the US market with Benny Bloss and Colt Nicholls as the brand, now established a couple of years in MXGP, take the lead across the pond and make their presence felt in the 2024 US supercross, motocross and SMX series.
Colt Nicholls is a former 250 champ, a former HRC factory 450 rider and, of course, just won a WSX main event in Australia – how he adjusts to the Beta will be fascinating because he has the talent to be at the sharp end.
It will be a big learning curve for all but it gives another factory team for riders to join in an ever competitive market and adds another fascinating story line to what is an already mouth-watering series with the addition of the Lawrence brothers, Webb on a Yamaha, Sexton on a KTM and Tomac back when he didn’t plan to be!
