Lucas Coenen set the pace during MX2 timed practice at Agueda and with some rain starting to fall it has left a slippery circuit. Rick Elzinga was second fastest on his Factory Yamaha with Simon Langenfelder third edging out Liam Everts. Kay de Wolf was sixth fastest before being docked two spots for not respecting waved yellow flags.
In MXGP, Jeffrey Herlings set the pace ahead of in form, Jorge Prado. Swedish talent and MXGP rookie, Isak Gifting was third fastest on his JK Yamaha machine with Glenn Coldenhoff fourth. Tim Gajser and Romain Febvre were only sixth and seventh fastest but the times are close.
