Cas Valk set the pace during the qualifying session in Portugal, Agueda. The Gabriel SS24 KTM rider who has been riding with painful ribs now looks back to himself which is good to see. Valk was 1.8 seconds faster than Ivano van Erp with Mathis Valin third fastest.
Valerio Lata who has been in superb form was only sixth fastest on his Beddini GasGas.
