After emerging through the EMX pyramid system, Quentin Prugnieres came into the 2024 season for his rookie MX2 World Championship season. The French talent signed with the F&H Racing team after a couple of years with BUD Kawasaki contesting the EMX250 championship.

It was season full of up and downs for Prugnieres but that can be quite normal for a rookie and he ended up a solid thirteenth in the MX2 world championship standings despite missing some rounds due to personal issues. At the last couple of rounds, Prugnieres showed a lot of promise and speed which could bode well for a strong winter to come into the 2025 season firing.

We understand that for the 2025 season, Prugnieres will change from Kawasaki, a brand he’s been with since his 85cc days. We believe that German based team, WZ KTM will sign him up for the 2025 season to contest the MX2 World Championship.

If the deal goes ahead, it will see the WZ KTM team have a French MX2 GP team with Maxime Grau also under the awning to contest the MX2 World Championships.

It would be a young rider line up but both riders have talent and plenty of potential for the future. The WZ KTM team will be hoping to unlock that talent to run at the sharp end up of the MX2 World Championship.

As well as two MX2 GP riders, the team are expected to tackle the EMX250 championship with two riders.
