Race results: 2021 Coupe de l’Avenir – France win

France had a great day at the Coupe de l’Avenir as they dominated the team event. They came out in top in the 65cc class, second in the 85cc class and third in the open class to beat Sweden in the overall team event.

Great Britain had good results in the 65cc class (third overall) and the open class (second overall) but the results in the 85cc class let them down which seen them finish fifth overall in the team event.

Ireland had a solid day and had the best result in the 65cc class finishing fifth overall in it. They backed that up with a ninth in the 85cc edging out the Brits and tenth in the open class.

In terms of the individual it was Léo Diss Fernard (65cc), Janis-Martins Reisulis (85cc) and Tom Guyon (Open) who took the wins.
