Lucas Coenen took the holeshot and rode another immaculate race – he’s starting to look like an experienced MXGP rider.
Kevin Horgmo got a great start and was riding strong in second before he was joined by Romain Febvre who didn’t get the best of starts but Horgmo hung on to take a superb secoond position.
Ruben Fernandez was strong in fourth but had Maxime Renaux right on him at the end after the French rider didn’t get the best of starts and had to pass Pancar, Gifting and Seewer.
Herlings started in fifteenth but was able to pass Vlaanderen on the last lap to finish in tenth.
