Jett Lawrence came out swinging after his ACL injury to go quickest at Pala from Eli Tomac and Hunter Lawrence! In Q1 Jorge Prado was five seconds off the pace in eighth with Sexton only tenth.
Lawrence then went even faster in Q2 to consolidate his top spot but Chase Sexton found the pace second time out to go second with Tomac third. Jorge Prado was eighth.
Benoît Paturel was 15th, coming from group B. Valentin Guillod, also in group B, was right behind Paturel in 16th, as was Nicholas Lapucci in 18th.

The 250 pre-season favourites Deegan, Vialle and Kitchen set the pace in Q1 at Pala as Austin Forkner impressed with sixth. Mikkel Haarup was 12th in group A on his AMA debut.
But in Q2 it was Chance Hymas who put in a scintillating lap right at the end of the session to go quickest 1.5 seconds quicker than Haiden Deegan who was on the podium ready for his fastest qualifier interview – but Hymas admitted he was on the limit for that lap!
