Jorge Prado went from third to first in the opening few turns to control the moto on a technical rutted track that played perfectly into Prado’s precise riding style, but even the Spaniard said the track was dangerous and admitted toa being lucky on surviving a big crash in practice. Jeremy Seewer was second just about holding off Jeffrey Herlings who had to battle hard from just inside the top ten and then duel Forato for fourth with Forato passing Herlings back before the dutch rider found a way by but Forato stayed on Herlings pace and that drew the Italian closer to Seewer along with Herlings.
