The MX2 qualifying race was the Jago Geerts show as he was loving the deep ruts and the rugged circuit. He got into the lead on the first lap and never looked back but he wasn’t the only Belgian to impress as Lucas Coenen finally took a good start and despite having company in the form of Laengenfelder and De Wolf, was able to finish an impressive second in a Belgian 1-2.
Starts are going to be key on race day as passing is difficult.
