The Young Motion powered by Resa GP team has signed a contract with 21-year-old Estonian motocross rider Martin Michelis. In the 2025 season, Michelis will compete for the team in the MX2 World Championship, with most of the European Grand Prix events on the schedule.
Martin Michelis:
“I’m really looking forward to 2025. It has always been a dream of mine to compete in the Grand Prix, and now that dream is coming true. The plan is to race most of the European Grand Prix events, the ADAC MX2 Championship, the Estonian Championship, and a few races in the Netherlands.”
Ron aan de Stegge (Team Manager):
“We aim for a mix of riders with GP experience and young talents. Martin falls into the latter category. He has already proven that he has top 10 speed in the EMX250 class and has achieved podium finishes in the ADAC series. We believe that with a strong and injury-free winter preparation, he can take a significant step forward in 2025 and be competitive in MX2.”
In 2025, the Young Motion powered by Resa GP team will once again field three riders in the MX2 class. The other two riders will be announced soon.
