MX2 race results: International Italian Championship RD2 – Everts wins Mantova

It was Liam Everts who took the holeshot in race one which is very important in tricky and wet conditions. The Belgian pulled away at the front to take home the race win. Ferruccio Zanchi and Andrea Adamo were battling for second before Zanchi lost control leaving Adamo nowhere to go. Zanchi was able to remount in second but Adamo dropped down the order to fourth with Oliver ending up third.

Simon Langenfelder suffered from a terrible start but was able to recover to sixth behind Valerio Lata.

It was Andrea Adamo who took the holeshot in race two as Langenfelder crashed at the first corner again! Adamo looked to be just getting away at the front but then made a mistake which dropped him down to third.

Valerio Lata was in the lead and looking superb at the front. With about eleven minutes to go, Liam Everts made a pass stick on Lata. Adamo made another mistake as he was looking to pass Lata but then he put the hammer down and caught and passed Lata. He then set his sights on Everts and there was nothing in it when a lapper crashed leaving Everts nowhere to go.
