Tommy Searle to race MX2 in 2024

For the 2024 season, Tommy Searle was initially signed up to race the MX1 class but there’s been a change of plans.

It has now been revealed that Searle will race a 250cc machine instead – after many years racing a 450cc.

Searle will go up against the talented Cas Valk in the British Championship which could be a good battle.

Bobby Bruce and Billy Askew will also race the MX2 British championship and will look to battle with a former MX2 GP winner.

The move now means that Dirt Store Kawasaki will now be MX2 only with Joel Rizzi and Mel Pocock also racing the MX2 class for the team.

Dirt Store Kawasaki posted the following update on social media:

“It’s official, Tommy Searle will make the switch to race his KX250 in MX2 this year. It may not come as a shock to many, due to Tommy’s love for the 250 machine – so we can’t wait to see what he can do in 2024”.
