Tim Gajser ended up cruising to an impressive victory during the MX1 moto at a very rough Riola. In the early stages, not much separated Gajser, Prado and Fernandez right at the front and the latter was holding the pace at the front.
Unfortunately, Fernandez then hit another riders bike in the middle of the track which ruined his race. As Prado started to close on Gajser he stalled with four laps to go and then just settled for second position.
The battle was on for third with Jeremy Van Horebeek passing Alberto Forato – it’s nice to see the Beta performing well in the sand after some troubles at the sand races last year.
