Mitch Evans ruled out for Riola MXGP
It has been confirmed that Mitch Evans will miss the second round of the MXGP World Championship taking place at Riola Sardo.
The Aussie came into the season with a thumb injury and tried to race the opening round but pulled out and has now didn’t to sit out round two. Hopefully he will be back at the GP’s soon.
Having consulted with medical advisors and spoken to Team Manager of KRT, Antti Pyrhonen, the rider and team have mutually agreed for Mitch Evans to withdraw from the Sardinian round of MXGP in order to concentrate on a full recovery of his injured thumb. “It regrettable but entirely the right decision” commented Pyrhönen. “Mitch will be back and ready to compete as soon as he is fit to race”.
