After his big crash in San Diego, Ty Masterpool is out for “multiple rounds” due to injury making it a tough start to the 2025 season for Mitch Payton.
Kawasaki tweeted:
“Ty Masterpool will be out for multiple rounds due to an injury sustained at @SupercrossLIVE Round 2 in San Diego.”

And, to make matters worse, Steve Matthes is reporting that Garrett Marchbanks is now also out due to injury… three riders attempted West coast for the team and two rounds in they are all out… that’s rough!
Sounds like Marchbanks got hurt and will be out for a while. Wow, poor Mitch
