James Barker has had a painful few days after crashing in Latvia and suffering a dislocated and broken shoulder. Barker says he was left in a corridor in Riga for 6 hours with very little painkillers after the on track medical people tried to put his dislocated shoulder in without success at the track!

Barker said: “I had a big crash in timed practice in Latvia dislocated and broke my shoulder in 3 places. I have never been in so much pain in my life. After 2 days I finally got an operation should have took 2 hours but ended up been 5 as there was so much damage. the medic staff at the @mxgp were absolutely clueless pushing and lifting me into an ambulance as I was screaming for help. as I thought things couldn’t get any worse they then tried to put my shoulder back into place in a shed at the track which was not successful and made things a lot worse. I then got transferred to a hospital in Riga which was hell were I was left in a corridor for 6 hours with very little painkillers I still had all my kit on which they wouldn’t remove I got treated like a dog nobody should have to go through that much pain. Hopefully I can be released from hospital soon and get home”
