Jacobi on the protest at Ernee – didn’t care!

Henri Jacobi had one of his best ever days in MXGP at the weekend in Ernee, winning the qualifying race and taking fourth in the first moto – and he wasn’t buying into the rider’s protest on Saturday!

“What a weekend in France,” said the German. “Saturday I won the qualification Race where obviously some riders didn’t race (I understand both sides of this controversy) the riders made a statement and I didn’t care so we went racing. I am not there to make bonds with riders I am there to give people who payed for this event something to see what they payed for.

“Sunday I got my best ever MXGP Result with a 4th in race one but just go unlucky 2 times in race two and crashed while chasing the Top10. Last lap I had a crash where I hit my head a bit but all in all I am happy with this weekend.”
