Guadagnini to sit out the Spanish MXGP – Everts returns

Before the MXGP opener at Argentina, Mattia Guadagnini picked up an injury after a crash. The Italian fractured his shoulder blade, and soft tissue injuries to his lower arm.

The Nestaan Husqvarna rider tried to make it back for round two in Madrid but it has now been confirmed he won’t race – the hope is he can return for round three at Riola.

At the moment Guadagnini, Geerts, Van Doninck and Van de Moosdijk are on the MXGP injury list.

“We tried our best, but it is not good enough at the moment. It is hard for me to accept but we will keep working for the next one”, Guadagnini stated.
