Team GRT are proud to announce their rider lineup and show off their 2023 look to its partners and the public. Two 250f machines, an 85cc, and two 65cc machines make up the five rider outfit this year, as GRT bid for success in the forthcoming season.
Â
Joe Brookes is back again for his second year with the team. He moves from the 125cc up to the 250f machine, and with that will move into the adult racing class at the British Championship, and the EMX250 class in Europe.
Â
Finley Evans goes into his second year on the 250f alongside Brookes. Skipping the 125cc class in 2022, Fin now has a year on the 4-stroke under his belt, and will be looking to improve on his results now he has some experience with the bike.
Â
Newcomer and reigning MX Nationals 85cc Small Wheel Champion, Blake Ward-Clarke, begins his journey with GRT as he moves into the Big Wheel category of the 85cc class. Coming off a great 2022 season, Blake is full of confidence, and looks to be a contender for a title once again in 2023.
Â
Teddy Merriman begins his third campaign in the 65cc class after showing great promise and improvement in 2022. As Teddy becomes older, his experience with racing will help him push further up the table as he looks to further improve on previous years.
Â
Finally, Elliott Shawyer rounds out the roster and joins Merriman for his second year in the 65cc class, as well as with GRT. Elliott, the youngest of the team at 9 years old, is applying himself to become a better rider and racer, and is showing great potential at the early stages of his career.
Â
Â
The team has its first official race on 11/12th March for Round 1 of the MX Nationals series. A big thank you to all sponsors, riders, friends and family for the help to get GRT Impact KTM ready for the 2023 campaign. We can’t wait to get started.
