EXCL: A new team to burst onto the British and EMX250 scene in 2024

There is a new Motocross team that is going to be bursting on the scene in the 2024 season. A British based team named K-Tech Aristo Cars MX Racing will be contesting the MX2 British Championship as well as the hotly contested EMX250 series.

Jake Taylor is the man behind the project and he has managed to secure backing from K-Tech and the team will run KTM machinery with the help from KTM UK via Redline Motorcycles.

The first rider to be confirmed under the awning is the highly rated Ollie Colmer as he gears up to make the step to the 250cc full time, this year he started on the 250cc but then decided to switch back to the 125cc to race the likes of Lommel and Matterley Basin in the EMX125 class.

The second rider of the team will be confirmed in due course but is another exciting young British talent.

Jake Taylor (Team Owner): I can’t wait to get started with the new team, we have exciting times ahead. The idea of running my own team came from a small conversation with Paul Baldwin from Aristo Cars track side during the 2023 season. I was sceptical at first but things soon steamed ahead and we gained great support from various high end company’s.

Ollie has showed good speed this year at various British championships rounds. Injuries have hindered him this season but we are looking forward to working with him and starting fresh for the new season. The second rider is a young talent, a three time British champion in fact and he will be announced in the coming days. I can’t thank Chris & Ken at K-Tech Suspension enough for making all this possible.
