One rider that has plenty of experience when it comes to racing is Christophe Charlier from winning an EMX title, Motocross des Nations with the French, winning GP’s and enduro titles.
The French rider has now announced that he has made the decision to retire.
Charlier posted the following statement:
“It is with great emotion that I put an end to my career completely. I dedicated my whole life to my sport, it made me the man I am today”.
“I experienced a wonderful climb in 2009 when I signed my first pro contract and won my first European title, I am so grateful to have been able to fight alongside the best riders in the world, gained the trust of the most prestigious brands, and wear my nation’s jersey and passed this challenge”.
“I like the challenge, the performance, the rigor, my willingness to give the best. I have experienced moments of unmatched joy, the MX2, MXGP and Enduro GP world championships, engraved emotions, the sport unites so much. Filled with humility, thank you for everything, I will not forget you!
“Will I miss the racing? Will miss the adrenaline for sure. When I look back on these great years, it’s nothing but happiness and grateful for the opportunities my career has offered me!! I will always be on a motorcycle at some events, but really just for fun
