Race results: MXGP World Championship RD18 – Shanghai

Race One: It was Honda men, Tom Vialle and Jeffrey Herlings who got great starts. It didn’t take Herlings long to get to the front and despite some pressure from Vialle early in the moto, he controlled things at the front before pulling away to bring home a dominant race won.

Romain Febvre was able to make a move on Vialle for second. Jan Pancar had a great race coming home in fourth – he enjoys China.

Race Two: Jeffrey Herlings held off a charging Romain Febvre to win the Chinese GP to take his 124th GP win but it was close on the last lap until Febvre almost had a huge mid-air crash that forced him to settle for second. Tom Vialle was third but 40 seconds back such was the pace at the front. Calvin Vlaanderen rode very well for fourth overall.
