Despite planning to retire after SMX, with Chance Hymas getting injured, Red Bull KTM team manager Ian Harrison revealed to us that Eli Tomac was offered the option to race the MXoN at Ernee for team USA and he even considered doing it before eventually deciding his preparation wouldn’t have been right – but Europe almost got to give Eli a send off to remember!
