Race One: Lala Turner went from fifth to first in a lightening first lap including passing Cannon and Herrick, her closest rivals, to take the lead and clear off for the win as Cannon, battling a broken shoulder blade, also battled young Herrick for second with Cannon making the pass but then going down only for Herrick to go down a few turns later in the ruts! Nelson had issues and dropped out of third as Jarvis held Herrick off for third over the finish line!
Race Two: Turner didn’t get the start again but this time Cannon was behind her and it was Turner who got to the front first with Cannon five seconds back by the time she got to second. She cut the lead down to three seconds but it wasn’t enough as Turner took two another win!
