Race One: Cole Davies came from fifth to catch leadee Levi Kitchen late and make the pass for win with Kitchen taking second but, crucially, beating his title challenger with Ryder DiFrancesco third and Julien Beaumer finishing fourth.
Race Two: As the rain poured down Levi Kitchen nailed the start again when he really needed it as Beaumer and DiFrancesco found themselves at the back of the pack giving Kitchen the freedom to take second place in the moto as Davies made the pass for the lead and ran away with the win. But it was Kitchen and Mitch Payton with the biggest smiles as Kitchen finally got his title and finally ended Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s championship drought!
Levi said: “I’m speechless. It’s been tough a few times. I executed the started and trusted my instincts from there. Just thank you to everybody, this means a lot.”
