Sacha Coenen passed Cole Davies and pulled away to a 15 second lead before a big crash brought the lead down to two seconds. Sacha got back up and pulled away again to over six seconds despite no goggles but was holding his collarbone/shoulder as he crossed the line in what may be a broken collarbone – at least that’s what Sacha told the team when he got off the bike!
With a 14 point lead in the MX2 world championship, it is a worrying development in his quest for his first world championship before he goes Stateside. Hopefully it isn’t as bad as it looked but it showed just how tough Sacha is to ride on and still win despite maybe breaking his collarbone!
