Race One: Hunter Lawrence took the win after Jett Lawrence crashed out of the lead but got back up to take second with Deegan third and Prado fourth after starting eighth.

But the big story was Lucas Coenen who went down in turn one with Cairoli, then charged up to fourth place, passing Prado all within 20 minutes but then it looked like his KTM expired over a jump and sent Coenen flying over the bars! Luckily he was okay but, unfortunately, the 19 year old Belgian star will not be racing moto two with KTM reporting they want to keep him safe for MXGP, according to the TV broadcast.

The race ended a lap early after a red flag came out for medics to safely attend to Christian Craig.

Race Two: Hunter Lawrence took the holeshot from Deegan Jett and Prado with the four fastest riders (minus maybe the fastest of them all Lucas Coenen who didn’t start the moto) out front early. Deegan put early pressure on Hunter before Jett made the pass on Deegan abd the Lawrence brothers pulled away slightly as Prado hunted down Deegan.
With a few minutes to go Jett was stalking Hunter but Hunter was keeping Jett at bay untol he folded the front, dropping him to fourth with Prado all over Deegan at the end but not able to make the pass which would have got him on the podium.
Hunter goes OTB! 😮
