Cole Davies put on a clinic after terrible start left him outside the top ten with Shimoda and Hammaker up front behind holeshot man Thrasher. Thrasher crashed out of the lead in the whoops as Davies torre through the field, the Kiwi super-takent passed a subdued Shimoda then caught and quickly passed Hammaker with authority in the whoops to take dominant win in a statement ride.

Davies said: “When I don’t perform I am pretty hard on myself. Me, my family and the people around me put in so much work so when I don’t perform like I know I can, I am pretty hard on myself. I’m stoked with that, that’s how I know how to ride.”
