It was a chaotic first corner – Janis Reisulis got the holeshot but it was a disaster for Simon Längenfelder as he didn’t get a good drive out of the gate.
The reigning world champion then got tagged and his bike got caught up with another rider – he had a front wheel problem which meant he need a pit stop – he was miles behind.
At the front, Reisulis was looking great in the opening laps but Sacha Coenen was able to make a move and pull at at the front of the pack.
Guillem Farres had a good ride to bring home second on the Triumph holding off Mathis Valin.
Liam Everts didn’t get the best of starts but recovered to fifth.
Längenfelder had great pace as he was a lap down behind Coenen but actually unlapped himself so he’ll be happy with his riding.
